Bill Register (Report)

Additional Information

The Bill Register report is a record of bills that will be included when bills are closed. The report includes final bills that have been generated but are not posted. For each bill, project and client information as well as the retainage, tax, and net bill amounts are included.

This report should be run prior to billing close to ensure that the projects and bill amounts to be posted are correct; this information is no longer available once the bills are posted.

The report can be used for the following purposes:

  • Review a list of bills that are in the billing process and identify any potential data issues.
  • Verify that all project / bill groupings have been invoiced.
  • Verify receivables postings.
  • Review billings by project manager, organization, etc.

The report includes a summary and detail view option. The summary view provides high-level information with the ability to drill-down into each of the levels. The detail view displays each section expanded; it does not provide any drill-down or hide capabilities. Sample Report.

General

This General area provides options to configure the report.

Field Description
Comment

Enter any comments about the report instance. Comments will display on the report console and the banner page of the report.

Restrictions

The report includes the following default restrictions:

Field Description
Thru Posting Period Enter or select a posting period. This is the last date in the date range to include open items. By default, no date is entered.
Include Image

Select to include an image. This field defaults to the image defined for the Report Model or Theme.

Include Banner

Select to generate the banner page on the report. By default, this field is set to generate the banner page.

Display Detail Select to generate detail level information in the report. By default, this field is set to generate the summary version of the report. No drill down is available from the Summary report.
Monetary Scale Select if the monetary values in the report should be scaled, or divided by a number, to reduce the amount of space used. By default, Ones is selected, but available options include None, Ones, Tens, Hundreds, Thousands, and Millions.
Monetary Nbr of Decimals Enter the number of decimal places to display for monetary values. By default two is selected, but the value can be between zero and three.
  Organization Map Enter or select an organization map. This is a hierarchical group of organizations in the system that is used to structure data on the report.
